Karel Kreps worked as a blacksmith since 1979 at the forge by architect Gustav Semerák in Prague. In 1989 the osamostatnil. Built his own forge in High Popovice, where since he lives and works.
He regularly participates in meetings and exhibitions forge Hefaiston on Helfštýn. With its one-handed swords and dvojručními earned seven victories during the four years of competition “Sword of” in Castle Sovinec. Participates regularly in many other exhibitions, where he received numerous awards. Exhibited in Vienna and Munich.
During his career, he participated in Prague the reconstruction of such. Royal Road, St. Agnes campus on Františku, Sternberg Palace at the Prague Castle and the Charles University Dining Services. His work can be found in Trebon, Karlovy Vary, Brno, Břeclavi, Mikulov and other places in the Czech Republic.
In addition to the Czech Republic with his works can be found also in Austria, Italy, Germany and USA.
